Theres a lot of optional extras in this picture do i need any of them?

I know the box in the bottom is an alarm which is disabled the sounder unit was mounted above the turbo on the bulk head and looks to have had a roasting.
Also the middle box in the top of the picture is a sigma immobiliser. The rest I'm not sure about. Any electrical gurus know if the other bits are standard and when i go to thin down this nest of wiring....I want to fit a new alarm system so I will have to work out whats what

Waiting for the dye to dry in. Hopefully get another coat in the morning before work.

Aye its turned out like new. its sprayed with this vinyl dye.

      http://www.vinyldye.co.uk/TRG-Vinyl-...c-Paint-By-TRG

Only bother is that a large tin doesn't go very far. I'm 6 tins in and probably need the same again to finish the whole interior.

Hi guys progress has been slow the past few months but today i dropped off my seats with the trimmers for recovering. going black leather with a grey stitching and fitting heating pads front and rear. its a hefty price tho 1650 all in. still have the drivers side arche to replace then underseal the back half and rebuild it then move on to the front half. All out and underseal, rebuild the front subframe and off the the painters. once back rebuild the whole car. what are the chances of all that before summer???

bit of an issue with the pedal for the clutch for changing the the manual gearbox. Bolted it in and it sits about 2 inches towards the rear of the car and about an inch vertically higher to the brake pedal. when the pedal is depressed it is hitting the steering column. Also the hole for the top bolt is nowhere near the bulk head. There must be 2 different revisons of the carrier. If so does someone have a spare clutch pedal please?

Bit more progress moved across to the passenger arch and started piecing together.

I have the outer finished now and the inner mostly pieced together although no pictures. So by the end of the weekend i will have it finished and be looking at undersealing the rear half. Once sealed back in with the subframe and fuel take and strip out the front half.

Rear arch is finished welding and the rear is now ready for stone chipping.

Should be at that tomorrow night with time permitting and be able to start building the rear half again this week

A whole lot of bolting later the rear end is coming together.

Going to keep the fuel tank off until back from the paint shop so not much more screwing to do at the rear then onto the front.

Engine out, subframe out. Stone chip the front half of the body. Poly bush the front subframe and rebuild in the car and off for paint.

Once back engine and interior in and and off to mot centre.

Have a nice little shark fin aerial for the roof to fit also. If i get time tonight i will do it and get a few more pics up

Got the shark fin aerial fitted think it looks nice and neat. Had to cut the support frame in the roof to let the nut in so made a small ring and welded it in to restore the strength.

Got the engine out on sat night and split the auto gearbox off it. Was a tight squeeze steering it out in one lump.
