Does anyone have a diagram of the vacum pipe system??????????

Been given an idea by bryank to pull my car out of the garge and get it running myself. But I cannot remember how the pipes go. Or if someone would be willing to get the beast going for me (I will give cash/beer....) please mail or PM me.

Has links to the plumbing diags. It looks worse than it is. Just work through them one at a time to make sure they go where they should :)

Cheers,

Bryan

Well, if all else fails, I could come up your way and give you a hand sometime.. I think bristol is about 80 miles from here so not a bad run..

I've only worked on my N/A which has simpler ish vac setup, but sure we could work it out! :)

I too am having bother with these vacuum pipes. Got the engine back together after a BHG, and she is idleing between 500 and 1200 which she wasn't doing before. so i started fiddling about with these pipes. now I'm a bit lost. looked in the haynes manual and can't make much sense of it all. Looked at the parts site and it doesn't show all the bits. So I'm asking any 89 turbo owners out there if they can describe where the 5 vacuum pipes go from and to plus the 2 tee pieces as I'm about to go off my head. Cheers

I was about to suggest you looking at someone else's car, Sheltie, until I saw where you are and am thinking that maybe the Shetland Isles aren't exactly overflowing with fellow Supra-owners. Anyway, here's a link to a few pics which I took before I did my HG, complete with the odd T-piece here and there if you look carefully. Be warned, they will take a while to download.
