I now have got myself the Toyota Workshop Manuel on CD. Although in Japonese still it has lots of detail about torque setting. Lots of exploding pictures, which is always handy. This also covers the 2JZGTE, 2JZGE and 1JZGE.

It is 128 pages long. There is also a conversion guide for the torque settings and a few other explanations in a second file. Details about surface tolorances and lots more.

If you want a copy please PM me. (It's not free though)

Please remember before you ask for one
IT'S IN JAPONESE

Some small bits have been converted to give you conversion guides for settings etc.

Would anyone be intersted in putting this on the net for all to see? Not sure on the file size, but it has been a secret for so many years and I think that the world should be able to get to it!!!!! I know it would upset some of the Soarer grouos but who cares!!!! They charge £50 for it!!!!!

Hello guys i never forgot about the UK site and though i would say hello and have been doing some digging for the JZA70 TSRM.. well read below!

I myself have been searching and have located a company that does translate automobile repair and owner manuals! They are located in Aukland NZ. they have a complete Soarer 91-98 and Supra 91-99 JZA80 but no JZA70. I did send of an initial e-mail and got this response.

Hello Wayne

Yes all is possible. We are able to translate if there are around 150 to
200 people interested and happy to pay around US$ 80 to $100 each.

Regards

Michael McCarthy (Director)

now i know this is alot, but i thought it may be helpful and really if enough people want/need a manual this can be done. this would be for the entire manual granted alot wont be usful to us because of our US spec TSRM's

any input here?

dyou think theyve ever had any business??
150 people at £50 each = £7500.
Give me that much money and I'll learn japanese and translate for you!

seriously though speaking japanese is not a unique skill worth £1000 per hour!
(assuming it takes 7.5 hours to translate the manual)
Theres plenty of Japanese speaking students round here who'd like to earn, ooh say, £200 for a couple of evenings work.
