fuel gauge fix?

Hi all..

my fuel gauge has gone a bit wappy.. does anyone know how easy it is to fix? Is it the same procedure/sender unit type as explained here ?

You probably just need a new sender unit mate, removal as the link you posted, although, as you know ours isn't behind the rear seats.

umm .. its still accessed through the boot though right?

Is the sender the same type as the one above then? if so its prob cleanable i reckon.

Yep accessed through the boot, pull the carpet back and your see the access panel.
I haven't seen our sender unit, but I'd imagine they'll all be pretty similar.

You can often refurb the sender, take a look at sogi.com or one of those info sites.
