Toyota didn't fit a factory Alarm/Immobiliser, but I think all UK Cars came with them.
These were presumably fitted by the Main Dealers.
Most cars seem to have Scorpion Alarms, later ones often have Pirhana Alarms . . . but other makes may have been fitted.
If your Alarm has been removed then it's obviously up to you what alarm you now choose to fit!

Safest bet is have the old one removed and a new one fitted, as if the wires have been cut, it could be that it was faulty.
The Scorpion alarms where fitted at a Main dealer, but they where not supplied with the vehicle, thay had to be purchased on top of the price of the car, hence why other alarms have been fitted. ( I used to work in a Toyota garage)

if you turn the alarm on by the key the hazards start flashind and i can guess that siren would be sounding off i use the remot eto disarm nothing happens the remotes work i think

If you want to be sure its working take it to someone that installs them and get them to check it out. Also if you have told the insurance co its alarmed and its not working, questions could be asked if the unthinkable happens.
