uuuumm having a bit of trouble, either that or i'm just thick (no comments please) OK i got a TurboX BOV from Darket (cheers Ed) fitted to my motor and me and Ed merrily thrashed it around the streets of Pelsall trying to listen for that ppppssssstttttt NOT A SAUSAGE :banghead:
Any way got home from work tonight and fitted it to my other Supra, went up the road and pppssssssttttt
Any ideas anyone????? Turbo's on both motors are boosting past stock (shimmed wastegates)

Is one an auto? Because, if it is, coupled with the fact you don't lift off on gearchanges, you won't get it to dump any air, hence no noise.
Otherwise, I'd suggest checking for air/vacuum leaks. Did both cars perform/run similarly? No stuttering or poor running on the first one?
both cars are manuals, strange thing is you can feel the turbo kick in on the one that won't pppsssstttt, the other one doesn't seem to boost as hard, but makes all the right noises ?????
Do you have a boost gauge on either, a proper one I mean, not the stock one, this might show up something, I reckon you have an air leak somewhere, check all hoses, the other possibility, is the wastegate isn't shutting properly on the affected car, this could indicate a cracked port, which will result in a little bit of air, constantly being bled off.
