Yes and No, you will need to go with a Big single Turbo as the Twinset up fouls the rear bulkhead.
AFAIK engine mounting isnt a problem <<<<< NOOB :) (Edited By darket)

MK4 rear calipers and discs are almost a direct fit (http://www2.speedtoys.com/~stryder/mkivbrakes.html) on the MK3.

Some people have installed MK4 calipers and discs by swapping the hubs from a MK4 too but this messes up the geometry, although this can be worked out again.

Looking at our puny calipers I'm not sure that there is room in the standard wheels to fit a MK4 caliper onto our discs, but I would be pleased to be proved wrong.

IIRC BBKs are available for less £1800.00. Look for posts by IMOYLES.

Hope it works out. I have been considering what could be done to improve the initial feel of the brakes and replacing the front calipers would definately be a step in the right direction. Please keep us posted.

Something that I was wondering about that you might wish to consider ... 4 pot calipers are going to need more fluid to move them I suspect. How is that going to affect pedal travel and front to rear bias?

Mk4 boy's swap the old crappy Jap spec Lexus GS300 brakes over to the UK setup all the time. Pedal travel and fluid volume doesn't seem to be a major problem.

Noid.
