Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller A wideband UEGO sensor controller accurately monitors Air/Fuel ratios (AFR) during the tuning process to prevent a lean fuel mixture, which could lead to engine damage. AEM has combined its single-channel wideband UEGO controller and gauge display into one unit, uniting unsurpassed AFR accuracy and control with an easy-to-read interface. AEM’s Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO Controller features a digital LED display and sweeping LED “needle” that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. The unit’s 52mm (2-1/16”) gauge housing fits in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere. Ideal AFR monitoring tool for EFI and carbureted applications, and engine dynamometers Does not oscillate AFR reading like narrow band sensors No laptop required for monitoring! Bosch sensor included Accurate to 0.1 AFR Reads in AFR or Lambda via a switch in back of gauge housing 24 Color-coded LED display lights provide immediate reference to engine’s air/fuel ratio (AFR) or Lambda ratio Integrated three-digit display reveals AFR or Lambda in real time User-programmable 0-5v analog output included for use with data loggers and virtually any engine management system Serial data stream included for output of AFR (RS 232)

This available to buy? Is it worth it buying for my car? I have apexi safcii and avc-r running all be it not very well. Would this help to sort out my running problems?

Pat you cant tune without one. Its the most important gauge along with EGT when it comes to tuning. It wont cure your problems but will help eliminate them if its an under/over fueling problem.

Will i need a new lambanda sensor as well. Nod said mine was giving funny readings. He said get a genuine Toyota one. I have one of those aftermarket universal things. It is quite new.
Can i order this kit or are you waiting for a group buy to make it work.
Cheers

I need a wideband, but am wondering whether to get one with build in datalogger such as the Innovate one. If I get this AEM one, can you recommend a cheap way to datalog?

video the gauge readouts and tabulate the results after. Thats about as cheap as it'll get :)

Thats a bit too cheap ! Plus the gauge wont be near the near the tacho and wont get both in the same shot. Nice idea though.

Well the UEGO outputs a serial stream and a seperate linear 0-5v voltage for dataloggers or ECU's.

Now to caputire this info, and other useful info, you could use a Profec-A from greddy (the one with the screen) or any other boost controller or device which allows aux inputs 0-5v

To capture data using the innovate wideband (lm1) you will also need the auxbox (lm-3) as the inductive clamp dosnt work well on 7m's (Lm-2)

I actually use the lm1 and lm3 for datalogging, but its a portable setup, i use it to datalog RPM's, boost, TPs, Fuel pressure, Duty an AF's amongst other inputs (Speed, G-sensor etc) on it.

to use the lm1 in car like the UEGO you need to purchase a Innovate Wideband gauge so it all ads up..

choice is yours :)
