You need a whole new set im afraid, try and get a set of a 90+ car as they did not not have the metal inserts in them and will not rust and pull away from the car again.
:crybaby: i have the two for behind the front wheels in white so theres a start i supose, most of them are held on with silicone i think :) are they all interchangeable?

Bloody hell mine aint that bad but its still enough to piss me off
theyl be sorted soon hopefully some nice white ones to replace them :) i console myself by thinking that at 17 years old its still alright apart from the trims
I should have a complete set of 89+ trim for sale sometime soon. I have two complete interiors and other bits in my garage at the moment (and nothing in the car apart from the front seats!), I need to sort through and put the best stuff in mine and sell the rest. Some of the pieces are pretty tired but most of what I will have left over is in good nick.

id be interested if they are white mate as i have some of the white trim on the wings i bought recently i think they came from a 89+ car let me know please i deffo want the 2 pieces at the front of the car so i can fit the wings as the existing ones have disintegrated :) the ones where the side repeater goes
I removed all the rusty metal on the trims of my '87 N/A and stuck them on the doors with double side trim tape. Just to be sure water didn't get behind I filled a syringe with Evostick and ran it all the way along the top, that was over 6 years ago and it still looks good and it will never rust again. What kind of idiot designs something like that. Stainless would have lasted forever, but then thats not the point is it 1st owner only keeps it 3 years, and Toyota don't give a ****e after that. These cars are full of silly faults like that, anybody had the bumpers off yet?. How about over a hundred quid per bumper for the poxy metal bits that hold it on. Peter

This is a job ive been considering since buying the car, are the trim sets a toyota only part, or is a case of seeking a secondhand set. should really do it a the trims on mine are all different colours. doing the back arches soon so it would be a good time to do it. then according to Dino, the only thing wrong left to put right is the colour!!!!!! :gay:
