Oil pressure

what is the oil pressure gauge suposed to read when the engine is idleing? mine is reading from aprox 30 upto 40 psi im not sure but it looks like it moves a lot slower than it used to :crybaby:

Sound fairly ok to me mate, but try a oil change

yeah its due a oil change anyway it just looked like it was moving slower than it used to

That sort of preasure would be nice mine just dropped down to about 10 on tick over up to 20 with revs got oil pissing out from the front behind the cam pulley cover some where :crybaby: :banghead: :rant:
Now is the dilemma do i try and fix it befor Billing or leave it :banghead:

keep close eye on oil level an leave it till after billing u know not good to start something this close.

My oil pressure gauge hardly doesn't move,never meets 40,is it a faulty gauge?and also the orange engine symbol comes on every time engine stalls,the idle drops off and the car stalls when the clutch is depressed when coming to turn or stopping at traffic lights?any advice,its has mods on the engine,kn filter,huge exhaust,blitz d/v,but boost still works??Oh and the car leaks petrol!!any fooking help and advice would be welcome.MKIII T.1990. :banghead:

the guages in these are never accurate, they are only an indication and it seems that every one is different, as for the car stalling, fixing the petrol leak would be a good start, and the warning light will come on when it stalls.
