ECU resetting

Can anyone tell me what might be causing the ECU on my NA to occasionally reset itself overnight?

I'm guessing it's resetting because the next time I use it the car initailly stalls when stopping at T-junctions, etc., but this then goes away, which is consitant with the ECU relearning.

Does it run like a bag of nails at first, then clear up, or just idles badly?

No, smooth as silk, just stalls when braking and changing down ready to stop at a T-junction. It's done it twice in the last two weeks.

Could be a vacuum leak.

They're REALLY big ones :) There's always one isn't there?! My +ive is so knackered thatmy ECU resets every 28.4 hours
