Well its official!!
the 3rd Friday Essex meet is coming to Yorkshire on the 12th and 13th of September at the Forrester's arms hotel, The Square, Kilburn, nth Yorkshire, YO614AH. (The home of the White horse)

Most of us will be getting there on the Friday, a few on the Saturday, So if anyone in the northeast (or Wigan lol) want to come and meet up please do.
The best time will probably be sat afternoon/evening as im guessing some of us will maybe be out and about during the day!!
Theres usually no problem parking, the locals are a very friendly bunch as are the staff, and the quality of the food and ale is outstanding!!! especially the ale :D

haha! there aint anything local sept fields n forest and some cows probably!
nearest town is thirsk, 15 mins drive away (you come through it from A168 off A1m) or Helmsley 15 mins the other way!

Ooooh where's that lump of rock in the first picture Mark?
it called "Roulston scar" at Sutton bank on the Hambleton hills, the footpath is the Clevelend way!
its outstanding and nearly 1000 foot high!

for the guys booked into "the farmhouse" i thought you may want to see this, the pic was taken from the forresters arm, look down the road, on the left you can see my R/R parked 4 cars down and that is outside The Farmhouse, so its very close indeed.

they had the new Mitz evo 10 there as pace car for road race (10k) and dont worry, theres only one Kilburn Feast a year so it will be quiet and sleepy when you all come in september!

Paul, my self and my wife are in yorkshire till monday, the rest of the group is proboaby going to leave from around lunchtime on the tomorrow, i think kev n shiela may go to Whitby tomorrow but may swing past here on way home? may but not certain?
either way my self and the mrs might be out in the morning for an hour but should be back for noon
And as you can see they doo sometimes let silly billy's out on there own and always on our carrage!! lol

Good to meet Worf at long last, another red turbo in fine fettle.
Now we just need to make it a regular event...............
That way Finfon and the rest of the North East mob might be able to get away from moaning about their football team for a few hours to get to a meet.......after all it was almost on their doorstep.
Maybe a not-so-famous motoring journalist and DJ could get a scoop on the biggest Mk3 meet in the North of England :poke:

stevieboy lol i ended up going to the pub for the match against hull. most depressing game of foota ive ever watched. ended up stoping in the pub till daft oclock talking about the game. then ended up in newcastle on the night time. lol what a mess

Yup that road was the nuts (if it's the one I'm thinking of). Deffinatley needs to be filled with Supras though :)

The road that goes north from Pickering, and after the hole or horcum it dips into Saltergate bank, then a few more dips before Blue bank the other side of the moors, when you gone past RAF Flyingdales you can take a left turn and be in Goathland in 3 mins! (Aidensfield!) prolly quicker than steam, lol.....

i love this road, it starts slowly going north from pickering but soon opens up into one of the best roads i have driven, 2004 i did it in a nicely powered cavalier 4x4, and i know you all gonna say "you what!" but it was sooo good, so i cant wait to get up there in me Soop!!, lol
will have to orgonise another meet there i think!
got to do the train just for MKIII for sure, lol
