View Full Version : Clutch help needed
On the way to work this morning my clutch went all weird. Play in the peddle was down to the half way point with no resistance at all - towards the end of the day the pedal was stuck to the floor and all i needed to do to clutch was tap the pedal!.
Got home and checked the clutch resevoir and it was bone dry - i filled it up and primed with the pump on top of the resevoir - clutch is back to how it was this morning - with play down to half way.
Any suggestions what to do next - do I need to bleed the system - if so how or does the pedal need adjusting
All help would be appreciated
Cheers Guys :banghead: :crybaby: :notworthy

Have a lokk in the drivers footwell if it is greasy then the clutch master cylinder thingy has gone.
Yes it is greasy - there is a huge stain on the carpet when I bought it - was aware of this - is there a repair kit or is it a new cylinder - if so how much to repair/replace - is it an easy diy job or pro ?
Cheers
