Alright All!!!

Just brought a twin turbo clutch for my 3.0 non turbo manual, because i've been told the twin turbo cluch is much more robust, wondering if i'm going to have any trouble fitting the different clutch, or is it a simple swap??

Cheers!

Alex.

This is a 2.5TT clutch i take it? Dont know if the 3.0 n/A and 2.5TT flywheels are the same, so before i done anything, try and get hold of the 3.0 N/A clutch kit and compare :-

A. Pressure plate, for size and likeness and mounting positions
B. Clutch plate. Check again for size, Also check the centre hub, count the plines and also the diameter

I'm pulling it all apart this thursday, so i'll let you know if it fits. (handy if it does) also, just found out the master clutch cylinder is leaking, know how hard it i to tak out and replace, hoping i dont have to pull the dash out or anything.

Thinking about it, could this be causing the poblem in the first place. i'm getting loads of slip in 2nd upwards, but first gear pulls ok. could the old clutch be o.k after all???

Cheers for your help.

Al.

Havnt done the master Cylinder yet but it is a common problem (damp patch driverfoot well) and theirs a few on here tha have replaced the seal...I would investigate that first as it can lead to clutch slip!
