Ok first update well kinda lol.
when i got the car she had a blown head gasket, who said na's don't blow them, once i got it all stripped down the reason it blew was who ever did the job last time, (yes it had gone before) used a ebay gasket set. pulled it all off blocked it all down toyota head gasket with arp bolt's an she run's like a dream.
also today my friendly land lord brought home one shorten'd short shifter.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/P1000323.jpg
in the pic's u can also see my touch screen 7" motorised dvd player.
an yes thats why it's nickname is the bumble bee mkII. more updates once she's been mot'd :D
well as i been off i done few more lil bit's the rear seats, which help with the bumlebee's image are now fitted in. the leather bit's that go in the side of the rear quarter's are still grey leather an so are waiting for me to get another job an pay for them to be done in yellow.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/P1000349.jpg
as the car when i got it had a snapped aerial i fitted a nice electronic aerial to the back window of the car, it's easy to see at the moment but i plan on having all the windows tinted at some point so it'll become invisible. also i have smoothed the hole where the old aerial used to be. it's in satin black at the moment as thats all i had in the garage to make sure it looked ok will get some 202 at some point for it.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/P1000355.jpg
ok these are pic's taken in the back yard where it is as black as black get's the pic's don't give a brill idea of how they work as the camera try's to make it all look right. but from seeing nothing on the test pic with door close'd i got this with it open
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/P1000357.jpg
and the other side, not able to open door too wide due to fence.

Is that a fidanza flywheel?
Any idea how much a new insert is?
it is a fidanza mate nope i've not look'd about, for one this an my old one was both very new. why is yours gone?
mrroverrover
21-02-09, 06:13 PM
Probably not but putting a better (but very slighty used) clutch in with the engine swap so thought may be an idea to renew it.
depending on which one it is only $59 plus shipping from summit racingflywheel inserts (http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+400462+318011+115+4294907680&autoview=sku)

It is confusing but I know there's 2 :)
I'm not that silly :duck:
hmmmmm yeah yeah yeah i know you far too well lol. i know the other one well from looking for bit's i want might want in the future lol
Well today i wanted too take my girl out for a lil drive so i went too see a very very nice man, (more on who later). as some of you will remember if you care :D my wheel's had no centre caps when i got them well i had three but might as well been none. so i looked about too buy some toyota one's but they was all silly money.
so i came up with another idea get some plain stock one's an personlise them. and this i did so i contacted very nice man an asked if he could sort me a design out of the rising sun, however very very nice man came back at me with a better idea.
and here it is................................
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/ae2e2fbc.jpg
the slight out line you can see is where i've put a clear layer over the top of the design too protect them.
here are all 4 of them
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v409/dino_the_dinosaur/bumblebee%20mk2/25f437d0.jpg
and on the car they really set the tone of the whole thing :D

Would like something that helps smooth things up in mine b4 its refitted.

Yes Stuey, makes it almost as good as a W58. It isn't an additive like Slik 50, it is just very good oil. Some info here (http://www.lkperformancestyling.co.uk/redline/mtl.pdf) and you can buy it here (http://www.lkperformancestyling.co.uk/catalogue/redlineoils/Product/Gear%20Oils%20and%20Transmission%20Fluids.html) product number 50204 about half way down the web page.

Sorry for the bump but I need some new centre caps for my Momos. Weighing up whether its worth the Ł25+ for a set on ebay atm, or get some custom one sdone like you did.
Could you PM me where you got them done and how much they cost etc?
EDIT: No wait. signman. just found it :)
Delete this post if you want
lol i bought the centres off ebay and paul did the custom work on them for me.
well there really has been not alot of progress on this so i thought after seeing nicks and rich's nice clean supra to wash mine today and while i was there took some pics of the dials steering wheel, after market cruise control, gear knob with personal touch added pics are to follow :)

There you go in this post (http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs/showpost.php?p=264921&postcount=175)
I finished it off Mark 3 cut up a bumper I sold to another forum member then gave up.
its quite easy to do BUT u ideally need the correct plastic welding rods to fix the new section in. (i've got some spare too). and a Rear Bumper to cut the repair section from.

Ideally you need prefacelift lights an grille to carry it off like mine or make up a centre grille between your lights.

If ya cars a bit sluggish & you need a bitta blow, who you gonna call? The 7M team obviously! :)
Fab work kids
6psi of blow isn't going to be enough for long i need a harder blow
Hmm, Supra working party, need to assemble one to get mine sorted and on the road this summer, any volunteers? Need to prep white one for MOT, then aerotop once thats done. Whats the going currency for such a thing?
KFC, chinese and beer I reckon would do the trick for most of them. Obviously bacon butties and tea to start with naturally.

Thats what I thought, which is cool, now to find volunteers!

Apart from the fact you're one f*ck of a long way away I'm in :) KFC and Chinese will bring me, Phil, Mel and Dino at the very least!
I'll be down in Cambridge next weekend if that's any use too

Picking up my car Mark - would love to see yours while I'm there, am getting interested in the V8 idea myself. Do you happen to know Neil from this thread:
