can anyone tell me why my soop is mis-firing on number5 cylinder,we've tried everything almost!new leads,new plugs,checked the coil-packs,maybe its a blocked injector,I know I've been a twat on here,but thats cos i got laugh at for buying a white one,you's were right with hindsight,but any help would be gratefull,cos I do love the car now :notworthy

Mine was misfiring for a time on boost because of a slight boost leak. It was lumpy as bloody hell for a while, just go round and tighten every single jubilee clip on the inlet side of the turbo.
If not it might be that you are using crap spark plugs like I was also. I was using the crappy champion ones from Halfords :gay: (still missing occasionally) but I've got some Denso IK22 irdiums in the post hopefully that should fix it. The champions were reaaalllly dirty after about 2000miles cos they're weak.
But I'm prretty new to this and may be wrong.

could be the dreaded BHG have u done a compression test on it yet?

Check the valve clearances mate you would be surpised how they close up after a load of miles on em, hence missfire (if it aint the bhg)

What ??? people who own supras actually checking valve clearances ?? you must be kidding :)
