I have just spent the last hour or so on the phone to Stuart.

Due to the Cheshire council "new" regulations The organizers have to

1. Widen the isles between the stands

2. Move the stands away from the tree's

3. No-One what so ever is allowed in the tree's

4. The Beer tent has to move to the other side of the road (which is on the show area)

There are other limitations as well but they are to do with the organizers.

The effect of this is that 9 clubs have not been given a stand and 150 of the 350 one offs have not been given a ticket either
The Jaguar stands that are normally behind the walled area have been moved out as the area is now for camping and "A Fence" will be erected to prevent the clubs camping under the tree's.

So there will NOT be a 2nd show this year for us at Tatton Park

well that just suck's have to make the most of jae now. I've already booked the time off work so i'll still be going somewhere lol.

That is a pain, I was actually thinking of coming to this if there was room, guess thats made my mind up :(

I'd be up for it. It was mentioned at the Pod on Sunday as a possibility.

billing is a heck of alot of money it'd be alot cheaper too go too a regular camping site.

What ever mate either way just somewhere to go and enjoy the company for the weekend with some beer and food as We have the weekend booked off anyway lol

Its the open sport national drag racing championship at shakespear county raceway on the same dates as tatton. £38 for the weekend including camping. does anyone else fancy this as an alternative?

I`d be up for a weekend at somewhere like that for a bit of a social get together & chill out :yes: :notworthy

Can leave the soop at home & maybe dust off some of my old fishing gear :D :)

:agreed:.....can't say for definite just yet, but this might be a chance for me and the boy to have a break from the mrs :)..(or her having a break from us)
