I Own A Black 89 7m Aero Which Ive Fitted A 3 Inch Turbo Back Exaust With A 4inch Front Pipe But Now Ive Struck The Fuel Cut Prob.. Ive Been Looking At A Few Of The Ways Of Recifing This But.. The Reimer-lexus Way Is A Pain In The Ass Because In New Zealand The Afm's Are Very Hard To Get. The Other Wa Yi Was Thinkin Bout Was The Dutch Websites Way Of Alowing More Unmetered Air Through The Pvc Pipe Hole.. But . I Want To Make A Fcd Clamping Circut.. By Using Some Zener Diodes But I Need To Know What Wires From The Afm Are The Fcd Hooked To. If Anyone Has Installation Instructions( From Hks,trust Etc.) That They Would Like To Explain I Would Be Very Happy...
As Soon As Ive Got The Fuel Cut Sorted Ill Turn Up The Boost Kindly Supplyed By My Kkk K27/k29 Hibrid

Have u went with bigger injectors or supplimentry fueling??

The whole idea behind the Lexus upgrade is to raise the fuel cut by 25% but this is paired with a set of 550cc injectors which provide the extra fueling needed.

Have you considered the MAFT?? removes the AFM and allows you to run a GM stlye MAF instead.

Search supraforums.com for loads of right ups on the subject!

As your in New zealand it would probably be easier for you to order an FCD from a HKS dealer in NZ rather than here in the UK

Why don't you speak to Link Electromotive in Christchurch. They do the XLEM ECU with internal driver boards for 7M-GTE, I have it on my MK3, it's not p'n'p but a wire in 2M flying loom affair but it runs off MAP (either internal 1.5 bar boost) or GM 3 bar external for 2 bar boost. It has loads of extra toys like anti lag, launch control, H20 spray/injection control, Fan control, waste gate control, shift light, and two configurable high power (5A) drives for things like NOS.

Nod.

Yep, if you're after big horsepower and you have a big turbo like that the best place for the stock ECU is in the bin. You really need a standalone ECU, but at a pinch you could try a VPC piggyback setup.
