View Full Version : Lurching
OK as i put my foot down, my sup seems to pull right slightly, but when i take my foot off there is quite a marked sharp pull to the left???? Anyone come across this before???? Is it a bush thing????
Possible mate have you lowered it without re-aligning caster and camber and are ya tyre pressure's ok

I would be very interested to know what this prob is, Recently I drove my sister-in-laws mondeo, absolutely no mods and it does the same, quite disturbing really.
LSD failing? or maybe brakes binding... guesses mind!
sounds like the rear axle twisting check out the rear subframe mounts and rear suspension arms there is something moving there££££££££££££ :banghead:

Cheers Nigel, Engine being changed soon :banghead: so will have it up on the ramps and have a poke around underneath
A rear subframe/bush issue I reckon.
Went to a friends who has an accurate tyre guage this morning, i've got 225/40-18's all round and wasn't sure of the pressures, anyway tried all four wheels.
N/S/F 28 PSI
N/S/R 26 PSI
O/S/F 30 PSI
O/S/R 10 PSI
You can't visably see the difference as the side walls are so small :banghead:
Took it out for a drive this afternoon and it's fine, guess who feels a total TWAT now :banghead:
Thanks for all your suggestions though :)
O/S/R 10 PSI
hmmm explains it pretty well lol :D (hey i had the same on the 'max.. crap handling.. discovered had 15psi in the front tyre and 3 psi in the forks..vs 30 & 14... DOH!)

come on we all know that crap handling came as standard with a V-Max, letting the tyres down and dropping the oil outta your forks probably improved it :duck: :)
