If your standard fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and injectors are in good condition, the ecu tends to run the car too rich at WOT. Some guys use the afc to lean it out a bit, so it's rich enough rather than pig rich.

well im going new bigger turbo running around 1.2bar, bigger injectors, new fuel pump and so on...
i was thinking i would need the lex afm but can i use the s-afc insted? i know u can add up to 50% more fuel with the s-afc. i would gess at just using the s-afc would work but i wanted to make shore.
sorry i should have sed that in the first post

Bigger injectors with stock fuel pressure is enough for the power typically made at 1.2 bar, I seriously doubt you need anymore fuel than that, you're more likely required to take some fuel out.

Depends on your turbo, which will affect where you hit fuel cut. Tuning on the stock ECU is quite unpredictable, I was expecting my car to run rich when I was at that upgrade stage (lex/550's/walbro on a hybrid CT26), instead it had a pretty much perfect mixture so I couldn't lean out the SAFC to gain me any headroom before hitting fuelcut. If I hadn't had the lexus AFm I would have been hitting fuel cut at 9psi or something.
You oculd just fit 550's and an SAFC, lower the fuel setting by 25% (and therefore the KV signal) across the board, and raise fuel cut that way. But it seems preferable to me to use the Lexus AFM rather than the SAFC which only has about 9 load sites.

Apexi S-AFC II has 12 points, S-AFC I has 9 so down to which one i get. i have an fcd so no fuel cut for me. im going to use my evc pro to limit the boost and keep it a stock levels untill i can get my self on rolling road to set it all up so Nodalmighty maybe a job for you. i will get the lex-afm just to help balance it all out.

I have the S-aFC in mine, the idea was for proper tuning on the RR. I have a set of 550's and A LEX, and am gonna go with the AFPR. I know they can run Pig rich at top end, and this is a power killer, the s-afc2 also has 2 maps, so you can use 1 map for normal boosting, and another for high boost driving :-)
And the bling factor outweighs anything else :cheeky:
