I didn't get this supra to JAE this year because the headgasket and turbo gave up, so over the winter months i'm in the garage again,
this engine was fitted with a MHG, but the previous owner didn't do it by the book, (block was not machined :sad2:)....
so i've ditched the mhg and the T4 turbo, it now has a standard toyota gasket with arp's (80ft/lb) and a brand new CT26, the 3" exhaust has also gone, it's replaced with a mongoose with a race cat, (my mate who does the mot now won't have to use someone else's emissions test :))

i'm still building the engine back up, i've got as far as i can because now i've got loads of bit's to get powder-coated...

Sorry to hear the T4 didn't work out for you but it's always good to see a build thread so works out OK for us ;)

:)...because with polishing you have to do it all again after a few months, with powder-coating a quick wipe with a damp rag and it's back to where it was...

here's some bits i had done last year..
